The sea turtles are an amazing addition! I love all the exhibits. For the price though, it's a bit high for the amount of time you spend here. We walked slowly through & back to the front, it only took 1-1/2 hours.
A little different then your normal aquarium. But this place was awesome! Such a great place to bring your kids and let the explore! We love the shark tank. And the sting-ray feeding. So much to see!
This place was amazing! They have an incredible collection of marine life, and even a section dedicated to local species. They even have a touch tank and a stingray feeding zone. My favorite part by far was the shark tunnel. Walking through it was amazing because we could get right up next to them and they weren't afraid to get close to us. Definitely worth the trip.
There were many aquatic critters to see and learn about, touch tanks, the famous Bull Shark tunnel... And an absolutely wonderful gentleman volunteer named Dan even took the time to give my friend and myself a short personal tour of the bull shark tunnel.
On a side note, he would love to visit Alaska some time and I'm considering opening an GoFundMe to make this sweet man's dream come true.
Great place wonderful exhibit. Had a birthday party there and then it took a turn. VERY expensive we were told that drinks would be provided and got a large bowl with about 18 drinks and no staff to help with any concerns like the door being jammed shut and difficulty getting in and out. We asked if there was any way to get music and she was put out by this. For $600 we got taken. Great to visit but recommending a pass on the party.
I wholeheartedly recommend visiting this aquarium, and talking with Dan, if you're in the area.
He was extremely knowledgeable, about the shark tank, the sharks themselves, and the two different creatures (baby rays and baby sharks) at the dual touch tanks he was supervising.
I'm from Alaska, currently on vacation, and had a great time here. Like a child at Disneyland!
