I expected more aquarium like feel such as shark tank. But was pretty nice overall.
First I want to say I enjoy the aquarium but this time was bad. My family drove from Pryor to spend my son's and my birthday at the aquarium. After spending nearly $80 to get in we wanted to leave. According to staff bus loads of kids have been showing up some groups unannounced. After entering the facility we were stuck waiting 15 minutes for a large group to leave the first area. Other guests were literally pushing against my back because we were so crammed looking in tanks. A staff member told me that they had 8 busses show up at one time and this summer has been like this all year. It upset me because the aquarium wasn't handling over crowding properly and it made for a bad experience. Not only that but there were several kids reaching in to areas marked not to touch the fish where staff couldn't stop them because there was only one staff member to 30 kids and 3 pools.
The prices are high but it is a cool place.
